London Cabbies & my reader
17 April 2017
I had a great story from a reader and a shared interest in my books with a London cabbie. (Nice one, thanks for sharing, John)
Your name came up in London when I was being taxied to my hotel last week. The driver was a huge fan of Medieval novels and recommended you. In just over a week I have read your last two books I got so carried away enthusing with him that I left my credit card in his machine! After calling the taxi company from the hotel I got his controller to ask to bring it back to me. He called to say he had got stuck into your final book and had not left the area! Needless to say I tipped him £20 so you can rest easy, knowing he was compensated!
