If it’s Friday it must be Yeovil
What I need is a donkey to carry my huge suitcase for the clothes I need on this tour. Failing that one pair of jeans and a T shirt and be smelly for a while - maybe I'll stay with the suitcase for everyone's sake. Thanks to Ruth, Claire and Anne at Bucklers Mead Community School in Yeovil and the boys and girls of year 8. Well done The Blues and The Six Idiots for the competition result, I hate it when we have to have a tie breaker - it's like penalties in a football match. Great questions from everyone and we even tried some Bushmen "clicks" - and I don't think anyone lost their fillings. There were so many questions at the end of my talk that we ran out of time - and I'm sure that chocolate cake was meant for me! Day off tomorrow (Saturday) so a day at home - one of my cats, Scraggs, is really sick and I have to take her back to the vet. Back to London on Sunday, and Manchester and Stockport on Monday. Max Gordon is making me clock up the kilometres - and The Devil's Breath has now been translated into 15 languages. Better brush up on my Greek and Romanian. Hope the book reading goes well everyone. Thanks again.
